On ANZAC Day we took the children on a walk up to the Kitekite Falls at the head of the Piha valley.
Took us about an hour as dear old froggy, our blind old labrador, had to sniff his way there!
Lovely bush (rainforest) on the way.

A patch of these Fungi have appeared outside Chicken Run fence and beside the farm road.

We always have a cross country walk during Special Olympic Training and it takes us by Henderson Creek. A low tide and you can see the Mangrove seedlings on the mud, some of them taking root.

A hedge of these are outside Valentine’s Restaurant in Lincoln Road, Henderson, where we celebrated Amber’s boyfriend, Thomas’s Birthday!

Angelo shows us how a good pasta is rolled for Raviolli!

Down to the Vinyard

An old Pear tree down in the gully.

My business partner and I went down to Hastings for the day and had time for a trip to the summit of Te Mata Peak.

Wild Koromiko (Hebe) growing on the cliff face!
